Getting Started with CouponReach: A Step-by-Step Guide to the Setup Wizard

To help you hit the ground running, the platform utilizes a straightforward setup wizard designed to get your account fully operational.

Whether you are configuring message timing or connecting your SMS carrier, this guide covers exactly what to expect in the three main steps of the process.

Step 1: General Configuration

The first step focuses on localized settings to ensure your campaigns run smoothly for your specific region. You will need to choose your time zone from the drop-down menu. This is a critical setting because it controls the precise timing of the messages sent by your account.

Additionally, you will select a date format. This setting, used to control the look of dates within the CouponReach interface.

Step 2: Twilio Integration

The second step is the most technical part of the wizard, as it requires configuring Twilio, your SMS carrier.

1. Create or Access Your Account: If you do not have a Twilio account, click the "Go to Twilio" button to be redirected to their site where you can sign up for free.

2. Purchase a Number: Once logged into Twilio, navigate to "All Products and Services" via the dashboard and select "Phone Numbers" to buy a number.

3. Check Capabilities: When searching for a number (local or toll-free), you must ensure it has SMS and Voice capability. Fax and SMS capabilities are optional.

4. Add Funds: After buying the number, you must click "Upgrade Project" and fill out the payment form to add funds; this ensures your phone number can successfully send SMS.

5. Connect the Accounts: Finally, locate your Account SID and Auth Token on your Twilio dashboard. Copy these keys and paste them into the corresponding fields in the CouponReach setup wizard.

Step 3: Campaign Templates

In the final step, you can browse and choose available campaign templates to download into your account. Selecting a campaign from this list will automatically add it to your account's campaign list, giving you a pre-built structure to start from when creating your own campaigns.

Don't worry if you aren't sure which ones you need right now; these templates are available in your account under "Campaign Templates" and can be imported at any time.
