Customers can now purchase a Directory Voucher for someone else using the new Buy as a Gift option.

During checkout, customers simply select Buy as a Gift, enter the recipient’s information, and complete the purchase.

That means your customers can easily send available offers to:

• Clients and customers

The Buy as a Gift option is available directly on the Directory Voucher checkout page under the Contact Information section.

💌 Add a Personal Touch with “Gift From”

We’ve also added a new Gift From merge tag for voucher campaign messages.

When someone purchases a voucher as a gift, the merge tag automatically pulls in the sender’s name based on the From Name entered during checkout.

So instead of the recipient simply receiving a voucher, your message can let them know exactly who it came from.

The Gift From merge tag can be added to the immediate SMS and email content inside the voucher campaign’s Emails/SMS content builder.

What happens with regular purchases?

Nothing extra.

If the voucher wasn't purchased as a gift, the Gift From merge tag stays hidden — so your regular voucher messages won't end up with unnecessary or awkward text.
